Lorenzo Bacciardi
Lorenzo Bacciardi is a Partner and heads the International Corporate and Taxation LawDepartment at Bacciardi and Partners. He specialises predominantly in Mergers andAcquisitions, Joint Ventures, Real Estate law and International Assignment of Employees.
He is particularly experienced in corporate and tax issues related to outbound investmentsmade by Italian corporations abroad and to inbound investments made by foreigncorporate clients in Italy. In 1999, Mr. Bacciardi received his law degree from the Urbino University School of Law inUrbino, Italy.In 2001, Mr. Bacciardi received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International CorporateTransactions and International Taxation from the Temple University James E. BeasleySchool of Law in Philadelphia, USA.In 2003, he was admitted to the Italian Bar as an Attorney.
Professional background
In 1998, Mr. Bacciardi interned at Darbys Solicitiors, in Oxford, United Kingdom, where heconducted extensive research and drafted legal documents dealing with company law andtax law in the UK.In 1999, he presented at a series of conferences in cooperation with Ramapo College ofNew Jersey – school of international studies. The lectures dealt with “norms and processesconcerning the globalisation of companies.”In 2001, he worked for The Erb Law Firm, P.C. in Philadelphia, USA, where he wasinvolved in all aspects of corporate law and tax matters concerning domestic and foreigncorporate clients. He also gained valuable experience in the implementation ofinternational tax planning solutions for corporate clients under foreign tax regulation andinternational treaties.In December 2001, he returned to Bacciardi and Partners where he has been a Partnerever since.In November 2010, Mr. Bacciardi was elected Chairman of the Eurojuris InternationalBusiness Group, an office he still holds today.In January 2013, he also joined the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors and their International Committee
