Aselina Tulegenova
Aselina Tulegenova joined SGA in 2008 as Senior Attorney and later as General Director and Partner. Ms. Tulegenova has worked as a lawyer for 12 years. Prior to her joining our team she had seven years’ practice as an attorney in one of the leading international law firms.
Ms. Tulegenova’s practice includes consulting on all matters in the sphere of subsoil legislation, corporate law, investment law, tax and customs law, and labour disputes. She has acted as general counsel for several multinational oil and gas services companies in the Caspian region.
She also has extensive litigation and arbitration experience in courts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the Supreme Court. She has published a number of papers in the sphere of subsoil use.
A member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Arbitrator of International Commercial Arbitration Court of the Eurasian Mediation Center (ICAC) and a member of Kazakhstan Petroleum Lawyers’ Association.
Aselina is fluent in English and Russian.
