Paulo Centeio

Paulo Centeio is a founding partner of SCAN.
Prior to joining the firm, and for ten year, he worked with MGA. He was a Member of the Supervisory Board of Mozal, between 2008 and 2009. Paulo Centeio also held the positions of legal and tax advisor at Ernst & Young, Maputo, director for the legal and labour affairs, at Grupo Entreposto and legal counsel at the Tax Studies and Tax Planning Department, at National Tax and Audit Office, Ministry of Finance.
He lectured the following courses at the Higher Institute of Science and Technology of Mozambique, between 1999 and 2009: Introduction to the Study of Law I and II and Introduction to Law. He also taught the course Introduction to Law I, at the Higher Polytechnic and University Institute, Maputo, between 1997 and 1998.
In addition, Paulo Centeio was a Lecturer at the Course for Accounting for the Intensive Training in Accounting Project, between 1992 and 1995 (Ceso CI/Coopers & Lybrand/Indeg – Higher Institute of Science and Technology of Mozambique Consortium), as well as teacher and co-responsible for the Training Courses for Finance Secretaries, organized by the United Nations Development Programme, in Maputo, Beira and Nampula, between 1989 and 1991.
