Mr. Mohamed Abdeen, partner, has joined the firm since his graduation from University of Khartoum 2002.His practice has been strengthened by his frequent deployment by the firm to work for different major clients. His practice is concentrated in the areas of civil and criminal litigation, Intellectual Property, international business transactions, agribusiness and infrastructure projects.

Infrastructure and Agribusiness Projects

He started out as a transactional and dispute resolution lawyer but now specialises in advisory work and procurement strategies for the Construction, Engineering and mining sectors.
Mr. Mohamed works closely with several leading developers, mine owners, contractors and consultant engineers including assisting them with risk management strategies and bespoke training programmes.

Mohamed, provides specialist advice on procurement and supply chain aspects of major agribusiness projects with capital values from the tens of millions to the billions.  He has advised at various stages of some of the Sudan’s largest onshore and offshore projects, including helping to formulate procurement strategies, driving implementation of these strategies and drafting and negotiating the required contractual documentation. Mohamed, has been involved in construction aspects of numerous onshore and offshore sugar production projects, sugar byproducts projects, and water treatment plants.  He has also advised on large construction and manufacturing contracts.

He regularly advises on all the main standard forms of contract used in the construction industry and is currently dealing with cases involving FIDIC, NEC and EPCM contracts. Mohamed’s dispute resolution work includes adjudication, arbitration and litigation.

Mohamed is an intellectual property specialist who advises clients on the creation, protection, exploitation and enforcement of all aspects of intellectual property, including patents, copyright, trademarks, design rights and confidential information.
