Lily K. Gruba
LILY K. GRUBA is the Firm’s Managing Partner. She finished her legal education both at the Ateneo De Manila University School of Law where she earned her Bachelor of Laws Degree and at Georgetown Law School in Washington D.C. where she pursued her Masters Degree in the field of Law.
Atty. Gruba’s legal career started when she worked for former Supreme Court Chief Justice Andres R. Narvasa in 1979. At present, she is Managing Partner and a full-time law practitioner at Zambrano & Gruba Law Offices.
Atty. Gruba’s academic contributions include her position as Associate Dean at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law where she also teaches Taxation, Local Government Taxation and Mergers and Acquisitions. Her other professional experience includes assignments as General Counsel and Board Member of a leading commercial bank. She served as Bar Examiner for Taxation in 2007, and for Commercial Law in 2012.
Atty. Gruba served as a General Counsel for one of the biggest government financial institutions and as Undersecretary for the Department of Finance from 1998 to the year 2000.
