Education: University of Costa Rica (Advocate and Notary Public, 1977) New York University (MCJ, 1978), Central Institute of Business Administration, INCAE (seminars in finance, 1991). Director of the National Securities Commission of Costa Rica, 1992-1993. Director, Bank of Commerce, 1990. President: Discount Stores, Inc. (Factoring), 1992; Trade Leasing (Leasing), 1994. Secretary, Board of the Costa Rica Country Club, 1994. Legal representative of several companies located in Zona Franca.
Memberships: Costa Rican – American Chamber of Commerce, Inter – American Bar Association and the Bar Association.
Languages: Spanish and English.
