He is the founding member of the Firm “Al Sahlawi Group Advocates and Legal Consultants”. He is a UAE national advocate. His practice in the UAE extends over a period of 25 years. He began his career in the legal profession as a Public Prosecutor where he worked from 1988 to 1994. Thereafter in the year 1994, he was appointed as a Solicitor for representing in state government cases at the Ministry of Justice, where he worked until 1997. In 1997 he founded and established the law firm “Al Sahlawi Group Advocates and Legal Consultants” in Dubai. From 1997 to 2006 he was appointed as the Legal Department Director, at Dubai Customs and then from 2007 to 2014 he was appointed as the Executive Director for Policies and Legislations. For the period of 2009 to 2014 he held the prestigious position of Senior Executive Director (Corporate Affairs) at Dubai Customs.
His main areas of specialization are litigation & Arbitration in various fields of law along with a vast experience in handling all customs related works and litigation. He also specializes in sports laws besides being a pioneer in legislating and drafting the constitution of the UAE Football Association and related rules and regulations and handling all legal matters related the sport thereto
